Terms and Conditions

 

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using http://www.themeatbox.co.nz (“the Site”) operated by The Meat Box Ltd. (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at http://www.themeatbox.co.nz

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.

Refund/Return Policy

If you’ve received an incorrect or spoiled item, or your order hasn’t been delivered within 48hrs of your selected delivery date, please contact us at info@themeatbox.co.nz.

You must notify The Meat Box via email on the same day your delivery is made. Items that have been consumed or disposed of will not be eligible for refund or credit.

 Photographic evidence of the product and packing slip must be provided to be eligible for a refund. We are unable to issue a refund or credit if more than 24 hours have passed since the arrival of your order before we are notified of an issue. 

Delayed delivery does not qualify for a refund or replacement unless 48 hours have passed since the dispatch of your order (if you are ordering to a Metro address).

The delivery date selected at cart is an indication of preferred delivery date only and is not guaranteed. Our packaging is designed to keep your meat fresh for up to 48 hours from dispatch.

We guarantee delivery to Metro areas only. Metro areas are defined as locations within a town or city that are serviced by New Zealand Post's overnight delivery network.

This excludes rural addresses, PO Boxes, and delivery to the Chatham Islands, Great Barrier Island, and other areas not covered by an overnight NZ Post service.

If you choose to order to an non-Metro address, then this is at your own risk and delayed or expired deliveries are not eligible for a refund. You can refer to the address checker on the header of our website to see if your areas is covered by Metro delivery 

If The Meat Box requests that goods be returned, please use the address provided by our team. We will cover any shipping or fulfilment costs associated with returns if the product is deemed to have a non-conformance issue.

When returning items, please pack them securely in the original delivery box, including the wool liner and frozen ice packs. All products must be returned in good condition and in original packaging (where possible) to be eligible for full credit or refund.

 

Purchases

We do our very best to deliver within the times given, but as we use an independent company in NZ Post to ship our goods so please be aware these times can alter. If you have any issues with your order please contact us by email on info@themeatbox.co.nz.

If for what ever reason we are unable to supply any product(s) you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible to ask if you would like another product at the same or higher value or issue an immediate refund on the item.

Any bulk or corporate orders will be packed into boxes in 'natural fall'. If you have ordered Meat Boxes as a corporate or client gift and require these to be boxed individually, you must let us know prior to the time of fulfilment. Additional charges to cover extra packaging and freight may also apply.

Trade Not Supplied.  The Meat Box’s mission is to provide better pricing for consumers NZ wide. While we can provide wholesale supply or take corporate orders, our advertised promotions are for consumer quantities and orders only.  Where trade volumes have been ordered, we have the right to reject that order.

Free Gift will be provided where the minimum spend is met.  It will be provided for grocery orders only. Where items have been ordered for Corporate Orders or from our Gift Collection the free gift offer will not apply.

Credit Card payments

Payments are processed through the secure DPS Payment Express system. Any credit card details stored for recurring payments are done so on the DPS System. No credit card information is stored by The Meat Box.

Payments must be received prior to orders being shipped. If you would like to query the charges to your credit card please email us on info@themeatbox.co.nz

Pricing

The Meat Box reserves the right to change prices without notice. All prices are GST inclusive and are displayed and processed in New Zealand Dollars.

 

Cancellation Policy

Due to meat being a perishable product we are unable to accept cancellations or make amendments on the day of cutting and packing or delivery.

If you wish to make changes to your order you can amend your order up until 5pm two days prior to delivery.

Please email info@themeatbox.co.nz if you wish to cancel an order.

The Meat Box reserves the right to refuse and cancel any orders at our sole discretion. This may occur for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to the unavailability of products, errors in the description or price of the product, or any other issue identified by our team. Customers will be notified as soon as possible if an order is cancelled, and any payments made will be refunded immediately.

 

Subscription Policy

We offer a subscription service to make ordering from the Meat Box even easier. We offer Free Delivery to our subscription customers, with a minimum term of three orders before your subscription can be cancelled. We have the right to adjust the cost of your subscription product at any time to match the current RRP. Please review all Subscription T&Cs here. Placing an order for a subscription is an acknowledgement that you agree to these T&Cs.

Marketing Policy

By ordering from us you accept that your information entered will be used to deliver the goods and it may be stored on our database so we can manage customer service or other enquires about your order.  We may also send an electronic invite to provide feedback and promotional information from us

The Meat Box will use your personal information for purposes that relate to the operation of our business and the provision of services to you as well as promotional and/or educative activities including keeping you up-to-date with products, services or events we think would be of particular interest to you. 'Marketing' may include email marketing and/or SMS marketing. 'Marketing' communications can be opted out of at checkout, by unsubscribing in your inbox or contacting our team on info@themeatbox.co.nz.
