- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 brown onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tsp finely grated ginger
- 1/2 jar or pouch of The Little Bone Broth Company Beef Broth
- 400g beef mince
- 1 Tbsp fish sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce or 1 tsp crushed chilli
- 2 spring onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped mint
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped coriander
- 2 Tbsp crushed roasted peanuts
- 1/2 fresh red chilli, sliced
Cook Aromatics: Heat sesame oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and fry until translucent. Then add garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.
Simmer with Broth: Add the beef broth and simmer until almost all the liquid evaporates.
Brown the Beef: Mix in the beef mince and cook until brown.
Flavour the Mince: Incorporate fish sauce and lime juice, cooking for 5-10 more minutes. Add more broth if needed to keep the mixture moist.
Add Final Touches: Off the heat, blend in sweet chilli sauce, spring onions, mint, coriander, peanuts, and red chilli.
