Christmas isn’t complete without a gorgeous glazed ham, and this recipe makes it a breeze!
 
Using The Meat Box Ham and Pepper & Me’s Glam Ham Glaze, you’ll have a tender, juicy centrepiece that’s sticky, golden, and utterly irresistible.

  • Warm the Ham for Easy Skin Removal:

    • Preheat your oven to 160°C (fan-forced).
    • Place the ham on a rack in a large roasting pan. Cover loosely with foil and warm in the oven for 30 minutes.


  • Prepare the Ham:

    • Remove the ham from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
    • Use a sharp knife to carefully lift and remove the skin, leaving a thin layer of fat intact.
    • Score the fat in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.


  • Optional Clove Decoration:

    • If desired, press a whole clove into the centre of each diamond for a festive touch and added aroma.


  • Glaze and Cook the Ham:

    • Brush a generous layer of Pepper & Me Glam Ham Glaze over the scored fat.
    • Return the ham to the oven and bake for 1.5–2 hours, basting every 20–30 minutes with more glaze to build a beautifully sticky, caramelised coating.


  • Optional Caramelised Finish:

    • For an extra golden, glossy finish, increase the oven temperature to 200°C for the last 10 minutes of cooking.



  • Rest and Serve:

    • Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.
